I am honoured to have been selected as the Labour candidate for Merry Hill. I ask for your support on May 3rd.
If elected I pledge to work hard for you. My priorities as your local councillor will be:
• Taking action to enhance community safety. Specifically, this will mean working with local police to reduce crime on our streets and combat speeding in residential areas.
• Taking action to reduce the housing crisis – ensuring safety standards for privately rented accommodation and helping to drive the council’s innovative work in the provision of social housing.
• Ensuring wide access to high quality education through helping the council to influence the strategic direction of education provision in the city.
A strong Labour council is the only way to ensure that the needs and interests of the people of the city are met.
