Bhupinder Gahkal

Bhupinder was first elected in 2011 and is the Cabinet Member for Visitor City. 

Bhupinder lives locally with his wife and four children and he works for the British Transport Police. During his time as local councillor for Wednesfield South Ward he has been working alongside Paula to secure the regeneration of the Castlebridge Gardens and bring about improvements to Gregory Court, Grovsenor Court and the surrounding area.

Bhupinder says, “Living locally, coupled with my roles for the Transport Police, has given me an insight into what the pressing issues are in Wednesfield and what is needed to solve them.  I am committed to standing up for you at the Council.  I have recently supported the regeneration of Ellards playing fields situated behind Perry Hill Primary School and ensured that Waddens Brook Lane was resurfaced.”
