Mary Bateman

Mary was elected in May 2014.  She was born in Wednesfield and has been a Labour Party member for over 30 years.  She is a school governor at St Albans School and at Ashmore Park Nursery.  She is also a former Mayoress of the City.

Mary says, ” I promise to work closely with my Labour Councillor colleagues Phil and Rita, who already do much for Wednesfield North.  I am a fan of the National Health Service, and am disappointed that the Government is forcing cuts in our City services.  I support the Labour campaign to make the canal a local nature reserve for the betterment of Wednesfield.”
