Rupinderjit was elected as the Labour candidate for Spring Vale ward in the local elections on 7th May 2015.
Rupinderjit says, “I am the mother of a young daughter and live in Bilston. My work involves helping young people to access employment through training programmes and I am also working on a project seeking to capture the heritage history of women.
I believe passionately in social justice and want to make a real difference in our community. I believe in listening to people and will work as part of a team with residents to tackle community issues and improve our community.”
