Jas has previously served as a Labour councillor in Bushbury North ward and is honoured to have been elected for Blakenhall in 2018.

She describes herself as a committed and dedicated champion for the residents. Jas is a Director of Interfaith Wolverhampton, a Director of Women Of Wolverhampton (WOW) and a Governor of NHS Primary Care Trust West Midlands.

She has worked in education for over nineteen years and says that her passion has always been to ensure that young people reach their full potential in life.  She is passionate about raising the educational attainment and skill levels of the citizens of Wolverhampton. 

Jas insists she will continue to empower women; to support the homeless and to raise awareness of the issues surrounding them.
