Payal Bedi-Chadha – your Labour candidate for Bilston East

Payal says, “I am honoured to have been selected to stand as the Labour Party candidate for the 2016 local elections for Bilston East Ward.  I would be privileged to join the Bilston East Team and believe that the sole purpose of winning elected office should be to make a positive difference by helping people, communities and the City to have a better and fairer future.”

“Many important issues will be facing us all, issues which will have an impact on the quality of life, issues such as housing, education, health and employment.  I will do everything I can to improve the lives of local residents.  Bert Turner can never be replaced but I will endeavour to walk in his footsteps to work for the local community.”

“Over the years I have actively worked in the local community and helped in a number of voluntary organisations and groups in the City, as well as being a sitting Councillor since 2012.  I have lived within Wolverhampton for most of my life and know many people and their families.  I currently work as a Property Lawyer and I have been practising within the legal field for many years.”

“If elected on May 5th, I intend to work and raise issues on behalf of the people of Bilston and Bradley and Wolverhampton in general.”
