Jasbir Jaspal was first elected to represent Heath Town ward on 3rd May 2012. She is the Cabinet member for Adults & Well Being and has previously served as the Mayoress alongside her husband Milkinder Jaspal during the municipal year 2013\/14.<\/p>\n
Jasbir was born in India and moved to Wolverhampton at the age of 2 where she has lived all her life. She went to a local school and gained a B.A.(Hons) in Business Studies from Wolverhampton University.<\/p>\n
She is married with two sons and currently works as a Management Accountant. She has previous experience of serving as a college governor. She also was a member of the consumer watchdog \u2013 OFWAT for a number of years.<\/p>\n
Jasbir is active in the local community working with a number of voluntary organisations and groups in the City. She also currently serves as a school governor at the Girls High.<\/p>\n
