She is the Cabinet member for&nbsp; Adults &amp; Well Being and has previously served as&nbsp;the&nbsp;Mayoress alongside her husband Milkinder Jaspal&nbsp;during the municipal &nbsp;year 2013\/14.<\/p>\n<p>Jasbir was born in India and moved to Wolverhampton at the age of 2 where she has lived all her life. She went to a local school and gained a B.A.(Hons) in Business Studies from Wolverhampton University.<\/p>\n<p>She is married with two sons and currently works as a Management Accountant. She has previous experience of serving as a college governor. She also was a member of the consumer watchdog \u2013 OFWAT for a number of years.<\/p>\n<p>Jasbir is active in the local community working with a number of voluntary organisations and groups in the City.
