About Jacqui Coogan
It is a privilege to stand for election as a Labour candidate in Wednesfield S outh. I have lived in the area for over 25 years and have been active within our local community campaigning for improvements for the community. I worked locally in the Education sector and have worked for the NHS at New Cross hospital for more than 20 years. As a parent, resident, activist and professional in one of our most beleaguered and much loved public institutions, I am able to understand many of the concerns of my fellow residents and campaign against the Conservative austerity that has stretched our public services to the limit.

About Bhupinder Singh Gakhal
It has been an honour to serve the residents of Wednesfield South for the las t eight years. I have lived in Wednesfield for many years and still maintain that this part of Wolverhampton is wonder ful. The volunteers and community groups in our area do superb work but we still have a lot to do. The Conservative government austerity programme has cut Wolverhampton council’s budget by more than 50% since 2010. You have probably felt the impact, the vulnerable certainly have. If I am re-elected on May 2nd I will continue to be the
strong voice Wednesfield needs to get the best deal possible for our residents.
