Rita was first elected to represent Wednesfield North in 2010. Rita has a strong Trade Union background. She was elected on to the Regional and National Political Committee of Unite in 2009.
Rita is a Local Authority school governor at St Alban’s Primary School, St Albans Close, Ashmore Park (federated with St. Thomas’ CoE School, Wednesfield) and school governor at Coppice Performing Arts, Ashmore Park.
Rita says “I really care about this area. I have lived in Wednesfield North all my life. I went to School here and have many friends and family in the area. I understand the local issues and am passionate to get the best for everyone who lives in this Ward.”
