Celia was elected in May 2018.

She lives locally with her family and actively volunteers in the community. Celia helps with the crèche at Saint Joseph’s Church and the holiday clubs. She also reaches out to the more elderly residents at events. Celia also volunteers at local schools and libraries, mentors young people around Penn and Merry Hill, and runs a citywide women’s group.

Professionally, she works in education as a Sports Coordinator and is also a part-time University Researcher . She holds Football Association (FA) Coaching and Refereeing qualifications which are put to good use at footballing venues across the city.

Celia describes herself as a practising Christian, a community activist and believes strongly in equal opportunities and meritocracy.
