Jasbir Jaspal was first elected to represent Heath Town ward on 3rd May 2012. She has also served as the Mayoress alongside her husband Milkinder Jaspal during the municipal  year 2013/14.

Jasbir was born in India and moved to Wolverhampton at the age of 2 where she has lived all her life. She went to a local school and gained a B.A.(Hons) in Business Studies from Wolverhampton University.

She is married with two sons and currently works as a Management Accountant. She has previous experience of serving as a college governor. She also was a member of the consumer watchdog – OFWAT for a number of years.

Jasbir is active in the local community working with a number of voluntary organisations and groups in the City. She also currently serves as a school governor at the Girls High.
