At our AGM on Friday 3 May, Councillor Ian Brookfield was elected new Leader of Wolverhampton Labour Group by councillors, replacing Councillor Roger Lawrence who is stepping down.
Councillor Brookfield as leader-elect of the City of Wolverhampton Council, will be confirmed in post at the council’s Annual Meeting on 15 May. Councillor Lawrence continues to be Leader of the Council until that time.
