Action 4 Bilston visited the British Ironwork Centre last week to talk about the new knife surrender bin which was launched in Bilston last month.

It is located outside the Morrisons supermarket and is one of 13 across the West Midlands. They give people a place to safely off-load knifes and other objects which could instead destroy lives.

Bilston North Councillor Linda Leach said:

“I am delighted that this knife surrender bin is now in place. Each and every knife handed in will help make our community that little bit safer.”
