We are both honored to have been selected as the two Labour Party Candidates for Oxley Ward in the Local Elections in May.
If elected, we pledge to use our skills and experience on behalf of the residents of Oxley Ward, working with individuals and groups for the benefit of the whole community. We ask for your vote and, if elected, will commit ourselves totally to working hard for you, Oxley Ward and the City.

About Sue Roberts
Sue is Wolverhampton born and bred and she and her husband raised their family here. Sue has considerable experience of community involvement including as a Governor at her children’s schools. Her particular interest is in housing where Sue began as a member of her local Tenant s and Residents Association, eventually becoming Chair of Wolverhampton Homes Board. In 2011, Sue was awarded the MBE for Voluntary Work in Social Housing.

About Clare Simm
Clare works as a benefits adviser and has done voluntary work and organised events for several charities. She has been a representative for the Public and Commercial Services Union for two years, carrying out casework for Union members.
