Steve Evans

Steve is the Deputy Leader of the Wolverhampton Labour Group / City of Wolverhampton Council.  He is also Cabinet Member for  City Housing. 

Steve has been a Fallings Park councillor since 2006 and  has dealt with thousands of queries on behalf of residents and ran many campaigns (e.g. overdevelopment, road safety, flytipping etc).

Steve says “Since being elected in 2006 I have worked to bring about many improvements to our local area and campaigned hard to defend you and the services you deserve at all times. Some of our achievements include resurfacing and road safety measures in Longknowle, Primrose and Blackhalve Lanes with further improvements to follow around the whole area.”

“Along with Chris and Val I hold three surgeries a month and deliver regular newsletters to keep residents informed. I also attend meetings with local groups and have always ensured local residents are given a say on important issues that affect them.”
