Labour in Graiseley - getting things done

Labour in Graiseley: action speaks louder than words

Labour Councillors in Graiseley highlight their recent achievements in the Ward.

Aspen Way garages

Your Graiseley Labour Councillors have been working with the Neighbourhood Management Team for two years to find the owners, serve legal notices, and then obtain the money to get the garages demolished. It has not happened overnight, but due to long hard work. Local residents who have attended the meetings will know this.

Local sites cleaned up by Labour Team

These sites were cleaned up just before Christmas by a team of local residents led by Councillor Elias Mattu. Skips kindly provided by local Neighbourhood Manager.

Repairs to speed bumps in Owen Road

Repairs to the speed bumps were first raised by Councillor Reynolds in a meeting in November last year, with the Chief Officer for Highways. This was further discussed after weather damage due to the heavy snow. Action was agreed by the Highways Department in an email to Councillor Reynolds dated 1st March.
