Labour Councillor Steve Evans fighting the proposed closure of Underhill House moved the following resolution at Full Council on 4th February 2009:
‘This Council agrees to defer the closure of Underhill House until a site has been identified and funding secured for a very sheltered supported housing for the Fallings Park and wider Wednesfield area of the City.’
This was supported by all Labour Councillors. How did the Conservative and Liberal Democrat Councillors vote?
Did they support Labour to try and save Underhill House?
